We are delighted to announce that co-founder and corporate immigration solicitor, Thal Vasishta, is one of eight new directors appointed to the board of Marketing Nottingham.
Marketing Nottingham is the official place marketing organisation for Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. The organisation exists to help grow the local economy, increase employment, productivity and ultimately the quality of life for residents.
In order to provide a unified voice for businesses and partners across the region, Marketing Nottingham consists of four business divisions - Invest in Nottingham, Visit Nottinghamshire, Meet in Nottingham and Nottingham Partners, which are all focused on promoting the region.
As director, Thal Vasishta will play an active role in shaping the future of the organisation and will work with his peers to drive the organisation forward. In response to his appointment, Thal Vasishta said:
“I am delighted to be serving as a board member of Marketing Nottingham and I look forward to working with my fellow directors and the team to promote Nottingham and the region. Since coming to the UK as a refugee at the age of four and other than going away to University, Nottingham has been incredibly welcoming and my home. Therefore for me, it is going to be very easy to recommend Nottingham and the region as a top destination for inward investment, to visit, do business in, a place to study, live and work."
Thal Vasishta’s newly appointed co-directors include:
-
Victoria Reeves – National Justice Museum
-
Kathryn Greenwood – Eden PR
-
Lisa Wilson – Nottingham College
-
Tom Waldron Lynch – Nottingham Venues
-
Natalie Shaw - Endymion Property Group
-
Josh Dickerson – BWB/Deetu
-
Dan Ellis – Fletcher Gate Industries
In response to these new appointments, Interim Chairman of Marketing Nottingham, Iain Blatherwick said:
"We are thrilled to welcome our new directors to the board…It’s great to be able to appoint a group of directors passionate about the City and County and who want to help Marketing Nottingham move into its next phase as a private sector led organisation. We are confident that they will make a positive impact on the organisation and its ability to deliver."
