The fees of our initial consultations and follow-up appointments reflect the nature of the case or enquiry. Please get in touch to receive a tailored quote.

 Application Check 

£350 (plus VAT)

This is for individuals or businesses who have already created a draft application. As part of this service, our business immigration lawyers will look at your application form, documentation, and representations and produce verbal or written feedback on them. Feedback will address whether any essential documents or information is missing, whether the application meets the rules, and whether the documents are in the wrong format.

NOTE: this is not designed for clients who have a complex case, especially where they may be refused based on the general grounds for refusal. Our immigration solicitors are not in a position to provide detailed advice on fact-specific issues.

 Skilled Worker (Entry Clearance) 

£1650 - £2000 (plus VAT) price depends on complexity

As part of this service, our immigration lawyers will:

• Provide initial advice which takes the job description, relevant immigration rules, and the start/end dates into account.

• Gather the required information for the Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS).

• Request the Defined Certificate of Sponsorship (DCoS) and assign the same people to this.

• Deal with UKVI queries about the DCoS request where applicable.

• Advise on the necessary supporting documents and check them.

• Check an applicant’s English Language evidence, police checks, and TB test (if required).

• Draft the application form.

• Write the representations and index.

• Draft detailed instructions to the applicant on their application pack and appointment.

• Advise on the outcome.

• Provide closing advice.

• Answer any ad-hoc queries.

 Skilled Worker (Change of Employment) 

£1450 - £1750 (plus VAT) price depends on complexity

As part of this service, our immigration lawyers will:

• Provide initial advice which takes the job description, relevant immigration rules, and the start/end dates into account.

• Gather the required information for the Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) and assign a CoS.

• Draft an application form.

• Draft written representations (where relevant).

• Review all the supporting documents and upload them.

• Advise and assist with either a biometric appointment or using the UKVI’s app to provide the biometric information.

• Advise on the necessary supporting documents and check them.

• Advise on the outcome.

• Provide closing advice.

• Answer any ad-hoc queries.

 Skilled Worker (Extension) 

£1200 - £1450 (plus VAT) price depends on complexity

As part of this service, our immigration lawyers will:

• Provide initial advice which takes the job description, relevant immigration rules, and the start/end dates into account.

• Gather the required information for the Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) and check for any reportable changes.

• Assign an Undefined Certificate of Sponsorship (UCoS).

• Draft an application form.

• Draft written representations (where relevant).

• Review all the supporting documents and upload them.

• Advise and assist with either a biometric appointment or using the UKVI’s app to provide the biometric information.

• Advise on the necessary supporting documents and check them.

• Advise on the outcome.

 Intra-Company Transfer (Entry Clearance)

• Gather the required information for the Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS).

• Assign a CoS.

• Advise on the necessary supporting documents and check them.

• Check an applicant’s English Language evidence, police checks, and TB test (if required).

• Draft the application form.

• Write the representations and index.

• Draft detailed instructions to the applicant on their application pack and appointment.

• Check the Biometric Residence Permit (BRP).

• Provide a template for the employer to use for their letter of support.

• Advise on the residence requirement and absences from the UK.

• Gather the required information.

• Draft a SET(O) application.

• Provide detailed written representations.

• Advise on the format in which documents must be submitted.

• Submitted the application.

• Collate the document pack or advise the client on this and check the document pack if it is provided.

 Student Visa (Entry Clearance)

As part of this service, our immigration lawyers will:

 Dependents applying with the main applicant

This is a consultation with one of our asylum lawyers.

 Checking Service (Level 1) 

£330 (plus VAT)

This is a 2 hour meeting with one of our family immigration lawyers who will provide you with verbal feedback on any outstanding documents and voice any concerns they have about the application.

This is appropriate for individuals who have already created a draft application and only require assistance or reassurance before submitting it themselves.

 Checking Service (Level 2) 

From £790 (plus VAT) price depends on the matter

This consists of an initial meeting with one of our immigration lawyers who will provide you with a letter of advice and list of documents required. It also involves having a 2 hour meeting with one of our family immigration lawyers who will provide you with verbal feedback on any outstanding documents and voice any concerns they have about the application.

This is appropriate for individuals who have already created a draft application and only require assistance or reassurance before submitting it themselves.

 Settlement Protection (Refugees / Humanitarian Protection / Stateless Persons applying for Indefinite Leave to Remain) 

From £500 (plus VAT) price depends on complexity

As part of this service, our immigration lawyers will:

• Provide an initial appointment and a detailed letter of advice.
• Arrange an appointment to take a witness statement (only for complex cases).
• Complete the application form.
• Compile country and personal documentary evidence (only for complex cases).
• Provide representations to the Home Office.
• Provide advice on the Home Office’s decision.

Legal Aid funding is available for Settlement Protection applications but is subject to financial eligibility. As part of our new client process information will be taken to facilitate an initial indication to the client as to whether they may be eligible for legal aid funding.

 Refugee Convention / Stateless Persons’ Travel Document

Some clients may be eligible for legal aid funding on an exceptional case basis to cover the costs of a private or family life application. This is assessed by the Legal Aid Agency on a case by case basis. Where a client may be eligible for this, their representative will discuss the merit of such an application for funding.

Disbursements

You will be responsible for paying the expenses (also known as disbursements ) on your case. The most common expenses in immigration cases are the visa application fee which can be found here: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/visa-regulations-revised-table and the immigration health surcharge details of which can be found here: https://www.gov.uk/healthcare-immigration-application/how-much-pay. If there are any other specific expenses, these will be discussed with you before they are incurred.
