A proven track record in advising on complex and time sensitive visa applications

For over 25 years our business immigration lawyers have provided support and advice to investors, entrepreneurs, high net worth individuals, innovators and businesses who are seeking visas to enter the UK. There may be a variety of visa options on offer but with our experience we will assist you to acquire the most appropriate visa.

Visas that allow you to establish a business UK:

Visas for short-term assignments

The majority of assignments and projects that require you (or your staff) to be in the UK for less than six months will need to meet the requirements of the visitor visa rules which allow certain business permitted activities.

UK Expansion Worker visa

The UK expansion worker visa allows you to send a senior employee to the UK to set up a branch or subsidiary of your main overseas company - providing that you have not already started trading in the UK.

Senior or Specialist Worker visa

The Senior or Specialist Worker visa has replaced the intra-company transfer visa. This route allows senior managers and specialist staff to be sponsored for short assignments by a UK branch or a subsidiary of their employer’s business.

Apply for a sponsor licence

If you have already established a business in the UK or have acquired a UK trading business and you want to transfer employees to the UK under the skilled worker visa, or the senior or specialist staff visa then our business immigration lawyers can help you to apply for a sponsor licence.

Innovator Founder visa

If you are an experienced entrepreneur with a business proposal that has been endorsed by an approved endorsing body (unless you are extending your application) and you have the required investment funds then you may be eligible to apply for an Innovator Founder visa.

Start-up visa

The Start-Up visa is for people who are seeking to establish a new business in the UK. You must prove that the business will be innovative, viable and scalable and you will have needed to have obtained an endorsement from an approved endorsing body by the 13th April 2023.

The Global Talent visa

You may be eligible to apply for the Global Talent visa if you are a leader or emerging leader in the fields of science, engineering, architecture, medicine, fashion, arts and culture, digital technology, or film. Applying for an endorsement and gathering the required evidence can be complex which is why we recommend speaking to a legal expert first.

High Potential Individual visa

If you have graduated from an overseas university that featured on the Global Universities list at the time of your graduation then you may be eligible to apply for the High Potential Individual visa. This visa allows you to work without sponsorship or be self-employed in the UK.

Graduate Route visa

If you are an international student who has recently graduated from an approved educational institution in the UK then you may be able to apply for a Graduate Route visa which will enable you to work or set-up a business in the UK.

Sole representative of an overseas business

The Sole Representative of an Overseas Business visa has been replaced by the UK Expansion Worker visa. Our legal team can assist individuals already in the UK with this visa to extend their visa or to apply for indefinite leave to remain.

Investor (Tier 1) visa

The Investor (Tier 1) visa route closed in February 2022. However, our business immigration lawyers can advise individuals already in the UK as Tier 1 Investors with applications to extend their visa or to apply for indefinite leave to remain.

Entrepreneur (Tier 1) visa

The Entrepreneur (Tier 1) visa route has closed for new applicants. However, our business immigration lawyers can advise individuals already in the UK as Tier 1 Entrepreneurs with applications to extend their visa or to apply for indefinite leave to remain.

Assisting businesses to employ skilled workers

Our expert business immigration lawyers assist education providers, government agencies, charities, and some of the UK’s largest businesses to apply for a sponsor licence, manage their sponsor licence, and sponsor skilled overseas workers.
