Paragon Law welcomes experience to the Board

Specialist Immigration Law firm Paragon Law have recruited Richard Withers as their Finance Director.  Richard trained at KPMG and then spent 5 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Corporate Recovery Manager.  Richard then moved in-house and his roles included Finance Director with Dollar Financial Group for 7 years and St Tropez Group for 8 years.
Managing Director of Paragon Law, Thalej Vasishta said “that since we started trading in 2003, Paragon Law has gone from birth, toddler, teenager and young adult very quickly.  We are now working on the business with a clean slate to see what has worked well in the early years and what can be improved moving forward into adulthood.  Part of this strategic development has been the addition to the Board of Richard Withers who has made an immediate and positive impact”.
Mr Withers said “I have joined Paragon Law at a very exciting stage of its business cycle.  The firm to date has grown rapidly particularly in respect of the number of locations from where it now operates.  We are now working on various projects which include further strategic hires and acquisitions.  Paragon Law is a young and dynamic team and I am very much looking forward to being part of shaping the firms future”.
Part of the recent geographical expansions at Paragon Law has included a further two offices being opened in 2010.  In February Paragon Law opened their Beijing office as part of a joint venture with Beijing firm Tengyi Law.  The office has been set up on the Zhong Cuan Cun Science Park (the largest science park in China housing over 2000 domestic Chinese and multinational companies) with the view to advising Chinese businesses on their expansion into overseas markets.
In April 2010 Paragon Law opened its London office in Jermyn Street, Piccadilly.  Mr Vasishta said “Paragon Law continues to have more and more of an international focus advising businesses and individuals not only coming to the UK but also advising businesses on setting up in ‘Chindia’ and transferring their key employees across to these emerging markets.  Therefore opening in London and Beijing is part of the strategic international focus and direction in which Paragon Law is moving”.
Paragon Law now has offices in Nottingham, London, Leeds, Ludhiana (India), Beijing &Shanghai (China).  They also have a formal association with USA law firm Nejame and Partners based in Miami and Orlando.
