Advice for European Economic Area (EEA) Nationals

Paragon has a specialist European unit that advises businesses and individuals on all aspects of EEA immigration law, including the Ankara Agreement and applications under European Court of Justice case law. We aim to help individuals gain maximum benefit from their rights to free movement across the EEA and are proud of our 100% success rate in this area.

EEA/Swiss nationals: we are able to advise nationals of these countries on applications for Registration Certificates, permanent status, the rules governing family members and ultimately British citizenship.

“Accession eight” nationals: The “A8” group covers Poland, Lithuania, Slovakia, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Estonia, Slovenia and Latvia. Paragon can help with:

  • Advice to businesses on Worker Registration Scheme compliance
  • Applications for Worker Registration Scheme certificates
  • Application for registration certificates
  • Applications for permanent status
  • Advice for students, self-employed and self-sufficient persons

“Accession two” nationals: The “A2” group of countries covers Romania and Bulgaria.  Paragon Law can provide specific advice and guidance both to employers and individuals on the correct rules governing employment of A2 nationals in the UK.  This is a complicated area and you will find in the resources section more details in respect of this.
