I am currently trained as a caseworker in the immigration team in Nottingham but will shortly be transferring to our China base. I regularly advise individuals who wish to come to the UK under the Points Based System, particularly those who come to study.

I have a supervisory position within Credit Control, but my main role is to oversee a smooth operation of business transactions between a group of companies namely Paragon Law and Transact in Languages Ltd, the company which provides Paragon Law with language services.

I am currently the Business Development Manager for Paragon Law. I am currently developing potential business relationships in the West African Market as well as maintaining exisiting markets.

I work with the asylum team assisting primarily with unaccompanied asylum seeking children and applications for further leave to remain. I liaise closely with social services departments to ensure that unaccompanied aslylum seeking minors who find themselves in the UK can be properly represented.

I am a caseworker in the asylum and human rights team. I work primarily by assisting on cases involving unaccompanied asylum seeking children. This includes assisting on cases through initial applications to the Home Office, through to appeals as well as further leave to remain applications.

I am a KPMG Qualified Chartered Accountant, whosubsequently joined PwC in the Corporate Recovery and Turnaround Department. Since leaving public practice I have held FD positions in growing businesses. 6 years as FD in a Global Financial Services business, helping Group though an IPO, was followed by systems and financial restructuring work at St Tropez Group. For the last few years have been involved in M&A work, both selling and acquiring businesses. I bring to Paragon Law a level of financial and compliance skills, together with much experience in professional services sectors. Outside of work I’ll be found playing with my three small children – either in the park or splashing around in the local swimming pool!

I am the operations assistant in Paragon’s China team. My role is to assistant in administrative duties and other business functions in daily operations. My responsibilities include marketing development, finance, IT and project coordination.

I am a caseworker, assisting foreign nationals, many of whom are in detention, with their immigration matters. My work ranges from helping clients apply for immigration bail to using human rights arguments and international law in support of clients’ appeals against removal or deportation from the UK. I also have experience of assisting EEA (European Economic Area) nationals and their family members. I previously worked for an organisation in Cairo, Egypt, representing African asylum seekers before the UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees) and have a special interest in refugee law.

I am a solicitor and supervisor in the Asylum team. My work focuses on asylum and human rights cases and I have a broad spectrum of experience in cases dealing with politics, religion, ethnicity and social groups. My particular area of interest relates to African countries such as Eritrea and Sudan. I have successful experience in cases at all levels up to and including the Court of Appeal stage.

I am a caseworker in the Deportation team. I work with individuals who are facing removal or deportation enforcement action and also deal with detention and bail issues.

I take instructions from clients in the India office in respect of entry clearance to the UK. I also support the UK team by advising on visa matters related to entry to India.

I assist the UK finance manager to maintain UK accounts and I manage the accounts functions for the India office.

I am the Operations Manager and my role is to ensure the smooth running of the firm, which includes regulatory compliance, IT, administration support, office procedures and audit, risk management, debt recovery, office maintenance, and managing and training file costs assessors. My background is as an Account Manager with the Legal Services Commission, where I worked closely with charitable and not-for-profit organisations to provide vulnerable clients with access to quality advice.

I am country director for China and based in Shanghai. I am actively involved in business development and I am the first point of contact in China. I completed my studies in the UK. My first qualification was a BA in International Business and this was followed by a MA in Human Resource Management. I was recently involved with Thalej Vasishta on the Hyperama PLC recruitment of 16 Chinese students into their depots throughout the Midlands .

I am the finance manager and am responsible for all aspects of expenditure.

I work on a part-time basis as Paragon Law’s development manager. My role is to co-ordinate and oversee all elements of marketing communications and business development projects

I am the operations assistant; I have been with Paragon Law since January 2006. My role is to assist with the running of the office. I am also involved with various aspects of marketing, finance and administration work.

I manage the Indian office where we have a team of legal transcribers who provide transcription and other back office support to Paragon’s UK team. In addition to my team leader role, my responsibilities include proof-reading documents, network administration, and accountancy. I also deliver guest lectures to MBA and MCA students at the ICFAI University.

I am a caseworker in the Deportation team. I help foreign nationals to resist deportation on the basis of their fear of return and disruption to family lives. My work has also encompassed assisting EEA (European Economic Area) nationals.

I am a solicitor and specialise in representing detained clients and those with appeals based on their family life in the UK, as well as securing compensation for those who have been unlawfully detained. I have represented clients in appeals before all forums, ranging from the Asylum and Immigration Tribunal to the House of Lords and European Court of Human Rights. Recently I have provided CPD-accredited training to other law professionals and run workshops at the University of Nottingham’s Civil Liberty Conference. I joined Paragon Law with the assistance of the Paragon Law Scholarship.

I am a trainee solicitor and LSC accredited supervisor with over 4 years’ experience in immigration law. My work encompasses all areas of immigration and I have experience in cases at all levels up to and including the High Court and Court of Appeal. Upon qualification as a solicitor in September 2010 I will be commencing employment in our London office.

Thalej Vasishta is MD and senior solicitor at specialist immigration practice Paragon Law, which he founded in October 2003. I have specialised in immigration matters since 1999. Prior to joining Paragon I lead the immigration team of a Leicester law firm. My role at Paragon is to assist clients with entry clearance and further leave to remain applications. I also work on discretionary human rights applications. I regularly work with family lawyers to assist with cases that have immigration-related issues.

I co-founded Paragon Law in October 2003 and currently head up the Immigration Teams in both the UK and India. I specialise in helping businesses that wish to set up in the UK and advising individuals who wish to come to the UK for business, to work, or to join family members. I also advise on work permit applications and business visas to India. Previously, I have consulted on the preparation of the immigration module on the Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Trent University, where I am a guest lecturer on this course.

I am a solicitor in the Immigration team and bring over four years’ experience in immigration law. I advise clients who need to extend or vary their immigration status in the UK. I also advise overseas nationals who wish to come to the UK as dependents of those settled here. I have a particular interest in advising both businesses and individuals in respect of the rights of EU nationals.
